that的用法

　　1、that 作指示代詞

　　如：That is the greatest guarantee of success.

　　那是成功的最好保證。

　　2、that 作指示形容詞

　　如："Do you remember that guy you were dating? What happened to him?" she asked.

　　你記得和你約會的那個小伙嗎？他發(fā)生什么了？她問。

　　3、that作關(guān)系代詞引導(dǎo)定語從句

　　如：This is the sort of thing that Jeremy loves.

　　這是杰里米喜歡的東西。

　　4、that 作連詞

　　that 可以作連詞引導(dǎo)各種名詞性從句，包括賓語從句、主語從句、同位語從句和表語從句。

　　They have recommended that the site be closed and repaired.

　　5、that作副詞

　　that和 this 都可以作副詞，用于修飾形容詞或修飾另一個副詞，表示“這么，那么，如此，這般”的意思，如：

　　There aren't that many people here.

　　這兒沒這么多人。

　　6、that的常見句型搭配

　　that還有很多詞組和搭配，尤其需要熟悉下邊這些與英語句型有關(guān)的結(jié)構(gòu)。

　　（1）so that以便, 以使；以致

　　如：Read the advertisements so that you can compare prices.

　　你應(yīng)該看一些廣告以便比較價格。
